Exploring new motifs and symbols in response to beach found objects and our contemporary ecologies of place… I’ve begun a series of graphic works titled The Golden Spike, which will run alongside my current mappings.

This departure from my usual style will act as a catalyst and test bed for exploring new ideas and broadening my vernacular.
The Golden Spike is a geologic marker that signifies our shift into the Anthropocene. Amongst the scientific community, this Golden Spike is yet to be formally identified. However, walking along the beach, picking up plastic oddments, the shift into the new epoch is sadly obvious.

Old news but fun news!!!

March 25, 2016

I was honoured to be an Artist in Residence in this amazing project space. Check it out at http://www.lookinlookout.org

If you braved the elements, got your winter woolies on and came and found me… then thank you! I think I spent the month wading around in mud, exploring the historic salt barns, and lying down to watch the clouds… with a little art thrown in too! I really appreciated all the visitors who popped by to check up on me and say hello!

Luxe styling in Heals Tottenham Court

July 14, 2015

Check out this photograph of the fab styling for the collaboration between Heals Tottenham Court and Forge & Co, th rough which the original Heal’s workers’ canteen was reinvented. I was so excited to grace its walls.

Needless to say, the four artworks from the Architectonics and Landlines series sat comfortably in their uber cool surrounds.
